Ciclovia dell'Ardesia
Ciclovia dell'Ardesia is a hiking trail crossing the towns of Cogorno, Lavagna, Carasco, Leivi, San Colombano Certenoli, Coreglia Ligure, Orero, Cicagna, Moconesi and Tribogna in the province of Genova, in the heart of Liguria, between the sea and the Apennines. It is listed in the OpenStreetMap database as a hiking route.
According to the recorded data, the route runs for about 33 kilometres. The figures come from the GPS track mapped on OpenStreetMap and should be treated as indicative: always check trail conditions and signage on site before setting out.
For this trail the total elevation gain and the CAI difficulty rating are not currently available in the OpenStreetMap database: we do not publish invented estimates or hiking times. We will update this listing as soon as the data is surveyed in the field or supplied by the managing bodies.
Like every trail on the Italian hiking network, the route is marked by the red-and-white waymarks of the Italian Alpine Club: two horizontal bands, often with the trail number in the middle. The red-and-white marks don't point to the destination; step by step they confirm you're still on the right path — the hiker's guiding thread. Always follow the marks, don't stray from the track, and carry water, proper footwear and an up-to-date map.

From the OpenStreetMap record
The Ardesia (or Entella) cycle route follows the river Entella upstream, exploring the nature and history of the Val Fontanabuona. Near Cogorno, the Basilica dei Fieschi, a medieval cathedral, is worth a stop.
